John Frieda - saved $36!

I've been waiting and waiting for these sets of John Frieda Full repair items to go on clearance. They have been hanging out at 30% off for weeks! The $2/1 off ANY John Frieda product Q's I've been holding onto expired on 7/31, so I missed out on using those. On Thursday, I squeeled like a little girl when I found these FINALLY marked down to 75% off!! They are originally $11.99 for the set (if each item is bought separately, they would sell for $14.98 as a set The shampoo & conditioner sell for $5.99 and the others sell for $8.99). Anyways, they were marked down to $2.98! I bought three with the shampoo and frizz control serum, and one of the conditioner and deep conditioning something! I spent $11.92, and saved a whopping $36.04!!! If I bought each item separate, I would of spent $59.92! 


In my mailbox today, August 7th:
In the picture above is a booklet I received today titled "The art of the Summer Striptease". Not sure how I got this, but it has AMAZING coupons inside!!! Here is what I received:

• $4.00/1 Schick Quattro for Women refillable or disposable razor
• FREE (up to $3) Skintimate shave gel
• FREE (up to $5) box of Playtex Gentle Glide tampons (18 ct or larger)
• FREE (up to $5) box of Playtex sport Tampons (14ct or larger)

They all expire 9/30. Looks like I'll be doing some price checks while at Target this weekend!

What's in your mailbox today? 8/3

So, I'll be the first to admit. I LOVE checking the mail box! Aside from the numerous "you owe us this amount" JUNK mail that I get, I'm usually getting some sort of sample or coupons! Before I started couponing, I got into samples. I just adopted my puppy and I wanted to see what food & treats were best for him. I realized after emailing companies and searching their sites, they are MORE than happy to send you a sample to try! After getting stuff for my new pup, I decided to try and get samples for myself. I got hair products, full size makeup products and even a bra (weird). I was hooked. PLUS samples almost always some with a coupon! Double score.

Looking to score a few samples of yourself? Try a few of your favorite companies facebook pages. I also follow a few free sample blogs. Also, I try an email a few companies a day (I've been slacking to only doing it once a week, I need to get back into it). Go to their company website and find the 'contact us' page. Whether you had a good experience or bad experience with their product, let them know!!! Just about every company I've emailed, I've gotten TONS of coupons and products! My favorite? Iams! I got free coupons for BAGS of dog & cat food. 


Here is what I received in the mail today: Wednesday 08/03

A Thank You! kit from Friskies from their facebook page, which included a full size bag of treats, 2 (only one is pictured) treat balls that my kitten LOVES already. (She was busy with the other one, and would not let it go!). A coupon for $.50 of 6 cans/pouches of food (which will double at Kroger!) and a coupon for a free can of food with purchase of more treats! My Bella is so happy. I also got a sample of Shout Wipe & Go. I love keeping these in my purse & car, just in case. Plus a coupon for $.55 off shout wipes, which Target sells in the travel aisle for $1! 


Try emailing Turkey Hill today, I got a great response in coupons from them. We go through their iced tea faster than I can think! Not to mention their ice cream is to die for!
